🌿About Me
Bridging science, research and lived experience
Hi, I’m Dr. Sarah and I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology. While my training prepared me for a career as a psychologist, I chose life coaching because I wanted to focus on growth, resilience, and practical strategies that help people thrive in their everyday lives. Coaching is action-oriented and collaborative. It’s about building tools, confidence, and habits that empower you to move forward.
Why Life Coaching?
Through my training and research, I gained deep knowledge of psychological assessment, treatment, and theory. While these skills are invaluable, I realized that many people benefit from a more hands-on, goal-focused approach to change in daily life. Life coaching allows me to combine my academic background with practical guidance, helping clients transform challenges into strengths, rebuild balance, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling.
Academic Training and Experience
I’ve trained to work with children, adults, and older adults, supporting people across the lifespan. My work includes helping clients navigate common psychological challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other emotional or cognitive concerns.
I have expertise in neurodivergence, brain injury rehabilitation, and neurodegenerative disorders. My research explored the impact of social isolation in brain injury survivors, as well as neurodegenerative disorders and assessment methods. This combination of training, academics, and research gives me both scientific insight and practical tools to support clients in meaningful ways.
Lived Experience
I’m also a survivor of a traumatic brain injury. This gives me firsthand knowledge of uncertainty, isolation, and the emotional challenges of rebuilding a “new normal.” This lived experience allows me to connect with all clients authentically and empathetically.
My Approach
I combine training, research, academics, and lived experience into a coaching approach that is practical, client-centered, and results-focused. I help clients:
Transform challenges into strengths.
Rebuild balance and confidence.
Grow beyond recovery into a purposeful, fulfilling life.
